Bono Film & Video Heritage
Bono Film Services was founded by Joe Bono in 1961. His impact on the local film community and on the national industry was legendary. People at conferences and conventions who meet Joe’s son Tim still remark that they “miss Joe.” He helped start and supported the rise of many industry careers. Bono Film nurtured students over decades and processed many independent short and feature festival winners. With the passing of Joe in 2009 and his wife Louise in 2011, the family company effectively ceased operations. To carry on Joe’s 50-year legacy, his son Tim established BonoLabs, which is not associated with the Bono family.
